Nyxeris. Open the file NCSEXPER/DATEN/E89AT.000 in a text editor and there will be a date on the 5th line. That will tell you how recent the version is. 4gb sounds about right but the current version is v69, v60 is from early 2017 so only an update if yours are older than that.

Yes that is correct except you can just press F4 again to process a different ECU rather than going through the steps 4-7 again. One other thing is that you will lose voice control (if you had it) completely if the CCC is from another car, the only way to get it back is to buy the FSC code from BMW which is very expensive and you must change the VIN in the CCC to match your car first.

In NCS Expert, load the Expertmode profile Press F1, and then press F3. For the ECU, choose the CAS ECU. Press F6, and then press F4 to choose which module you are wanting to change the NETTODAT file for and press the OK button. Press F4 to read the ECU. So first time at my hand at coding and not getting very far, i managed to install all the software and got INPA working with the cable attached to the car, both the airbag and seat belt buckle came on letting me know its communicating. I then started NCSEXPERT and tried to load the profile expertmode but get a message telling me "Profilversion. Got all files from here, NCS Expert version 4.0.1, Daten file copied into proper folder. When I first start and try to load profile, I get the following, no plain "expertmode". Poked around loading the "OFFEN" profile, but didn't far, never got to showing VIN, and at one point said "Chassis is faulty" error Default profile car&key memory.
